Style School - Drag Look?

Another American influenced Japanese style but one that I have never been able to find a name for.

The Cragar fronts and jacked up rear ends scream 70s show/drag car but the blacked out, yellow lettered rubber and sponsor list doors have a real NASCAR feel.

What ever its called I can't think of a better use for 80s JDM box designs.

Style School - A Hacksaw Is OK

Dragon Snake

Created by Shelby American employees as an after hours project the Dragon Snake Cobras extended the Cobra's Motorsport dominance to Drag Strips all over the country.

This one showed up at this years Grand National Roadster show

The original Dragon Snake (CSX201) started life as a PR special and high flying movie extra ("Viva Las Vegas" and "The Killers") before becoming the test bed for the factory Drag Racing program.

Safari Status - Los Boulevardos

"Too late to be traditional, Too lowrider to be custom, Too custom for lowriders"

"A style born on the Boulevards 'Bellflower' customs are typically late 50s through mid-60s fullsized models that are characterized by wild paintjobs, customized interiors, and a lowered stance."

The modern home of the Bellflower movement is Los Boulevardos CC, a group of cars and guys committed to continuing the evolution and application of true 60s style Boulevard cruisers.
